EM Solutions is a leader in the design and manufacture of products that assist in the delivery of real-time voice, data, and multimedia anywhere in the world.

Employing a team of specialist engineers at its head office in Brisbane, Australia, EM Solutions designs and supplies leading-edge satellite and microwave communication technology for naval and other defence customers globally.

Their hardware designs include low noise amplifiers, filters, oscillators, mixers, and solid-state linear power amplifiers, which in turn are combined with firmware controllers to produce integrated subsystems such as LNBs (low noise block down-convertors) and BUCs (block up-convertors). These sophisticated components form the core subsystems used in broadband telecommunications radios, particularly in microwave terrestrial and satellite links, or in front ends for other applications such as radar, radioastronomy, and remote sensing. Specially engineered solutions include bespoke on-the-move satellite terminals, radar high power illuminators, and high-power mm-wave radio transmission systems.

Over the last 20 years EM Solutions has built a customer base of more than 200 of the world’s largest system integrators and telecommunication companies, delivering high-quality products and services. EM Solutions is jointly led by managing directors Georgios Makris and John Logan and joined the Cohort group in January 2025.
