Cohort marks International Women's Day with Gender Diversity Pledge

On International Women’s Day 2021, Cohort Plc, the independent defence technology company, has made a firm commitment to gender diversity by signing the Women in Defence Charter – a pledge to providing opportunity for women to succeed at all levels. Commenting on the pledge, Cohort’s chief executive Andy Thomis said:
Women make a vital contribution at all levels of our organisation, in roles spanning engineering, project management, finance, sales, marketing and operations. Signing the Charter today is a public statement of our commitment to ensuring women are given every opportunity within the Cohort Group.
The Women in Defence Charter has been signed by over 50 organisations in the UK defence sector. The initiative was established by Women in Defence UK whose work on gender diversity spans all levels of defence from the armed forces, MOD Civil Service, defence industry and the defence 3rd sector.
